The Great Dying
The Great Dying
Will "Billy" Reed Griffith (born Feb 1979) better known by his stage name The Great Dying, is a Mississippi delta singer-songwriter. Originally borne of a two piece with friend Kell Kellum, Billy performs with a rotating roster of musicians and also as a solo act.

The Great Dying has very recently finished Bloody Noses and Roses at Dial Back Sound Studio in Water Valley, Mississippi. The record pairs soft familiar heartbreak with gross garage karma. Co-produced by Bronson Tew and a southern leader in ruthless rock, Matt Patton (Dexateens, Drive-By Truckers), Bloody Noses and Roses is versatile in a new and peculiar sense. Both Patton and Tew own and headline Dial Back Sound.
