Raffle tickets will be available for $2 each or 3 for $5. Prizes include a Pampered Paws Pet Resort and Spa gift certificate, an evening at the newly opened 512 bed and breakfast, and other fabulous prizes.
Benefit organizer Elizabeth Speed has worked with Mississippi Spay Neuter for over a year.
"It is important to spay and neuter the cats and dogs in our area to prevent unnecessary litters," Speed said. "This benefit is a way to hear a great night of music and give money to stop unwanted animals from roaming the streets."
Mississippi Spay Neuter is the first significant collaboration of non-profit, animal welfare organizations from across the state of Mississippi. Each year, hundreds of thousands of unwanted dogs and cats are euthanized at shelters across Mississippi – including purebreds. Many unwanted animals result from accidental breeding by free-roaming, unaltered pets. SPAN's aim is to stop the killing by preventing the births of so many unwanted dogs and cats.
The18 & up show at Proud Larry's starts at 9 p.m. For more information contact Elizabeth Speed at 662-801-0753 or
